Phrenology is the study of the structure of the skull to determine a person`s character and mental capacity. This science is based upon the assumption that mental faculties are located in brain `organs` on the surface of the brain and can be detected by visible inspection of the head and skull. This awesomely creepy, cold cast resin phrenology bust makes a great gift for doctors, medical students, or anyone who loves old Victorian style decor. The head is printed with a map-like sectioning, showing what part of the brain affects which personality traits. The bust measures 8 1/2 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 5 1/4 inches deep.
